CESA #11 Head Start employs highly qualified teachers who enjoy working with young children and their families. All teachers have an early childhood background with either an AA or BS degree. Many of our centers collaborate with local school districts to provide 4K education and teachers in those classrooms are all DPI licensed by the state of Wisconsin. Our teachers provide on-going assessment an

d incorporate activities into the classroom that meet the unique needs of each child. Teachers are trained on Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards (WMELS), The Pyramid Model (for social/emotional health), and the Head Start outcomes framework. Understanding the development of children, from birth to age five, enables teachers to be intentional and thoughtful in their daily interactions. Children learn through play and our teachers recognize the importance of allowing children opportunities to investigate, explore, and manipulate their world. Our teachers are early learning advocates who spark the curiosity in children and instill a love of learning.

📚☀️ Goodbye School, Hello Summer! ☀️📚

Today marks the last day of another wonderful school year at Head Start! What an incredible journey it has been watching our students learn, grow, make friends, and reach new milestones.

To our amazing families, thank you for your support, partnership, and trust throughout the year. It has been a joy to be part of your child's learning adventure.

As we head into summer, we hope your days are filled with sunshine, laughter, new memories, and plenty of fun. Take time to relax, explore, read together, and enjoy every moment with your little ones.

We are so proud of all our students and can't wait to see what the future holds for each of them. Have a safe, happy, and unforgettable summer!

Thank you to all of our families for joining us at our carnival! We had such a wonderful time together enjoying games, face painting, dancing, prizes, and yummy treats. It was so special getting to celebrate an amazing year with all of you and make fun memories together.

Our next and final celebration of the school year is Graduation! June 4th🎓 We hope to see you there! ✨
