💚 May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚
Connection matters. Support matters. Students matter. 🤝
This year, our CCLC-Student Connections emotional support groups across the Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District supported 429 secondary students—including 293 at CFMS, 110 at CFHS, and 26 at CVHS.
These FREE support groups provide students with safe spaces to build healthy coping skills, manage stress, strengthen relationships, and connect with trusted adults and peers. 🌱💬
With trained staff members, expanded group offerings, and updated SEL curriculum, Student Connections continues to provide meaningful support to secondary students across CFAUSD.
Many of these important student mental health supports are made possible through grant funding, helping expand access to services at no cost to families.
During Mental Health Awareness Month, we are reminded of the importance of checking in, supporting one another, and ensuring students know they are never alone. ❤️

The Cardinal Community Learning Center was proud to co-host a FREE family fun event this April at Halmstad Elementary School! Families enjoyed a delicious pizza dinner 🍕 and got creative making adorable sock bunny crafts together 🧦🐇💛
We have to give a HUGE shoutout to the amazing students — we were so impressed by your kindness, great manners, and willingness to help clean up without even being asked 🙌✨ That speaks volumes about who you are!
Way to go, Halmstad Hawks! 🦅💙 You made the night extra special!
