On Thursday 4:30 AM coffee truck will be at the school for teacher appreciation day. If you would like to purchase coffee please come and be aware of wait times. She is there 630-915.

What a wonderful readathon! We have read over 107,000 minutes and raised over $10,000 for the PTO!

You may wonder what the funds cover. As the PTO we still have a $15,000 playground balance to pay by the end of the year. We also fund a lot of the student experiences at the school such as the Snake Discovery (and many more). We also help pay for some of the field trips for each grade. As well as give teachers stipends for their classrooms and fun nights/events for students! The funds will help us continue to provide for the school, staff, and students!

With that being said our Final Cut off for the assembly numbers will be 6pm on Thursday! Please enter all numbers and donations by then to count towards the numbers!

We will be having a celebration assembly for students during school Friday and a celebration dance from 630-8 pm on Friday (the 17th). Hillcrest families are allowed to attend with the students. Not open to the public!

Sweet surprises during our Read-A-Thon!

We’ll be delivering surprise donuts to classrooms as a fun reward during the Read-A-Thon!

📚 The more minutes students read and log, the closer their class gets to earning this sweet treat.

Don’t forget to log your child’s reading minutes to help their classroom reach the goal!

Parents of Hillcrest students mark your calendars for Friday, April 17th for a post readathon dance!

The dance will be in the school gym from 630-8. Just a laid back way to celebrate hard work!

Don’t forget to save your holiday gift bags and tissue paper for next year’s Hillcrest holiday store! This is also a great time of year to go buy bags on clearance and donate them as well! This year we used up our entire stash of bags and almost all of our tissue, so we appreciate your help restocking for next year ❤️🎁

Bags and tissue can be dropped off in the Hillcrest lobby when school is back in session, and we will store it for next year !day
