PAEC had the privilege of partnering with Holmes County Elementary Math teachers for a day of professional learning focused on strengthening mathematics instruction and improving outcomes for every student. During the training, teachers engaged in meaningful learning around Visible Learning strategies, student mathematical thinking, and effective interventions designed to meet the needs of all learners. Thank you, Holmes County Elementary Math teachers, for your dedication to excellence and your commitment to ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed in mathematics!

On Thursday, August 6, 2026, VPK teachers and paraprofessionals from Jackson County came together to learn more about student engagement for the VPK classroom. Together they focused on the research behind student engagement, as well as participated in the tasks they will incorporate in their classroom that will support student growth and success.

PAEC provided professional learning for Calhoun County Elementary Math teachers focused on strengthening Tier 1 mathematics instruction to support student success.
Throughout the day, teachers deepened their understanding of high-impact mathematics practices, exploring Visible Learning, academic vocabulary, Tier 1 instruction through the Formula for Success, and explicit instruction through gradual release. Teachers also engaged in benchmark-aligned planning using the B1G-M to ensure instruction is purposeful, standards-driven, and focused on student learning.
We appreciate the dedication of Calhoun County Elementary Math teachers as they continue to reflect, grow, and strengthen their instructional practices to ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed in mathematics.

On Wednesday, August 5, 2026, VPK teachers and paraprofessionals from Washington County joined together to find a deeper understanding of the CLASS Assessment, Florida VPK Standards, and how the two work together to support student growth and success. Educators participated in engagement tasks that allowed for collaboration and building relationships among colleagues that will extend throughout the school year.

On Tuesday, August 4, 2026, teachers and para in grades K-5 from Franklin County School gathered for a professional learning session on Student Engagement. Focus was placed on the research behind the need for student engagement and how to implement student engagement tasks and structures to support student growth and success.

Yesterday, teachers from Washington County came together to deepen their understanding of Igniting Student Ownership. It was an engaging and inspiring day focused on elevating student learning through intentional engagement strategies, empowering students with greater choice and voice, and fostering metacognitive practices that encourage learners to reflect on and take ownership of their growth. What a rewarding time of collaboration and learning!
