You wouldn't buy a house or sign a rental agreement at an apartment complex without investing the time & effort to familiarize yourself with the neighborhood, would you? Why should the college selection process be any different? As part of the college application process, college visits are a MUST. You can only glean so much information from print publications, websites, and testimonials. FYI: A few UC campuses have started sending out freshman admission decisions on a rolling basis, with other campuses soon to follow. Below is a list of admissions decision release dates, by campus, for freshmen.
Please note that these dates may be subject to change:

Freshman
Berkeley - 3/27
Davis - 3/14
Irvine - 3/17-3/21
Los Angeles - 3/21 (early evening)
Merced - 3/6 rolling
Riverside - 1/14 rolling
San Diego - 3/15

Starting January 2014, College Match Counseling is expanding its services, and will now offer PRIVATE TUTORING for the SAT Reasoning Test!
