Hero/Veterans Day: St. Margaret Mary School eighth graders are hosting a Hero/Veterans Day Service, Friday, November 8th, at 8:30am in the St. Margaret Mary Hall. Our service will honor those who serve or have served in any branch of the armed services, work or have worked in any branch of law enforcement, and work or have worked as a rescue professional (firefighter, EMT, nurse …).
All Heroes are invited to attend the service as an honored guest and be acknowledged for their service by the entire school community and introduced by an eighth grade es**rt. Please inform Mrs. Baca via email at [email protected] if you or a Hero you know will attend the service. We ask those who are attending to arrive between 7:45am - 8:15am and go directly to the entrance of the Hall through the white gates located on the Central side of campus to be greeted by an eighth grader who will get information for the introduction of each guest during the service. We look forward to the opportunity of showing our gratitude for all you have done or do to keep our country and our community safe.
In addition to honoring guests in attendance, we ask that you provide us with the names of any family or friends, past or present, you consider to be a hero. All of the names will be displayed and honored on our Wall of Honor. Please send an e-mail to [email protected] with the names of your hero(s) by Tuesday, November 5. Below is an example of the information needed for the Wall of Honor.
