The Community Service, Park & Recreation Commission will be discussing input of on the sale of LEGAL fireworks.

I will be there speaking on behalf of our football booster organization, and I believe it is important to make one thing very clear:
LEGAL fireworks sales are NOT the same as illegal fireworks.
Booster clubs and youth organizations selling legal fireworks are following the rules and using these sales to raise money to support our kids and community. The heartbreaking loss of a young woman is absolutely tragic, and my heart goes out to her family. 💔 But the focus should be on illegal fireworks, unsafe use, education, and enforcement — not organizations that are following the law.
Illegal fireworks will continue to exist whether or not booster clubs sell legal fireworks. We have even seen devastating tragedies involving illegal fireworks in our own surrounding communities.
We should absolutely hold people accountable for illegal and dangerous choices, while continuing to educate our community about fireworks safety.
Please come out Monday night and make your voice heard. This decision could directly impact booster clubs, youth organizations, and the programs that depend on legal fireworks sales to support our kids.
💙 If you support our youth organizations and believe legal fundraising should remain separate from illegal fireworks use, PLEASE ATTEND and speak up!

BLAYLOCK BRITTLE FUNDRAISER IS HERE!

It’s time to kick off one of our biggest fundraising opportunities of the month!

📋 Each player is encouraged to sell at least 10 items from the fundraiser list. Every sale makes a difference and helps support our football program!

💰 Collecting Payments:
Players are responsible for collecting payment for all items sold. Funds can be submitted in the following ways:

✅ On payment method write player name, jersey number, and level (freshman/ JV/ Varsity)

Don’t have checks or Venmo? No problem! Simply turn in your cash along with your fundraiser form to Ms. Jovita Donovan or Mrs. Marin Rodas, and we will write a check to the company.

🚨 MANDATORY PARENT MEETINGS – TUESDAY, AUGUST 11 🚨

ALL football parents are REQUIRED to attend the Mandatory Fall Sports Parent Meeting on Tuesday, August 11. This meeting will be conducted by School Administration, Athletics, and Coaches and will take place in the MPR.

Immediately following the Fall Sports Meeting, ALL football parents must proceed to the Lecture Hall for the Monthly Football Huddle Meeting.

This meeting is extremely important, as we will be sharing critical information regarding the upcoming football season, expectations, volunteer opportunities, game day procedures, and other important updates.

Please make arrangements to attend both meetings. Your attendance is expected and appreciated.
