Mingus Springs Charter School We are a free, public elementary school committed to children and making their educational experience a positive one. We are very proud of that.

Founded in 1995, Mingus Springs Charter School is a pioneer in Arizona by holding one of the original charter's issued by the Arizona State Charter School Board. With small classrooms and a philosophy of teaching the whole child using the Arizona State Standards with individualized instruction, the six pillars of character, and hands on experiences Mingus Springs students have a positive education

al experience that lasts a long time. Currently there are students attending Mingus Springs who are the children of our former students.

March 2 is the Grand Opening of our Spring Book Fair. 8th grade is hosting a Spaghetti dinner to raise funds for their end of the year trip. $10 for adults & $5 for children. Festivities are 5:30 - 7:00.

Thursday Feb 11 will be our next SPIRIT day. Girls dress in pink and boys in red.

Teach all subject areas using the Arizona College & Career Standards. Create, teach, and modify daily, weekly, & quarterly plans based on the needs of the students. Develop positive, respectful relationships with students, families, and colleagues.

Mingus Springs Charter School will be closed through April 10 as mandated by the Arizona Department of Education due to the coronavirus outbreak. We will keep you informed as information becomes available.

In accordance with the state mandate by Govenor Ducey school is closed until March 27th.

Mingus Spring Charter School will follow with the CVUSD and extend the spring break for one week. We will look at the situation later this week to make further plans. Please stay informed and keep you families healthy.
