And just like that, their District C internship is complete!
Please join me in congratulating these students, who have been working with since March 20th to develop ideas to pitch to boost her online sales. Throughout this experience, they collaborated with their business partner to understand her goals and learn more about her business before getting to work. They created prototypes, action plans, and data analysis to measure the impact of their ideas. Their work and skills they increased throughout this process was beyond impressive, and I am so proud of them! 🖤✨

Our scholars launched their District C teamship at the zoo this semester and have been working with their business partner to prepare pitches they’ll present next week! We are so excited to see what they come up with and how they continue to collaborate with their partner.
The skills they’ve developed during this process have been NEXT LEVEL! Their empathy, collaboration, communication, creativity, problem-solving, community-building, and more have been off the charts.

✨What a day!✨
Today filled our hearts with so much joy and gave our scholars the opportunity to show just how incredible they truly are.
We started the day building bridge kits in partnership with our amazing, EC department, and ended it by teaming up with to build mentorships and collaborate on a very special project.
These weren’t just engaging activities, they were experiences rooted in empathy, adaptability, collaboration, leadership, and bringing out the very best in our scholars. We already knew they were amazing, but today we saw an even brighter side of them. The energy from these partnerships was inspiring.
I am so proud of this program and the fearlessness our students show in carrying our experience mindset beyond our walls. I think I see some future educators 👀 and they truly are the best. And it was obviously made even better by a visit from a Spark alum! What. A. Day. 💛
