Congratulations to Lilleigh Lefler for being selected as this month’s CTE Student Spotlight! 🎉

Lilleigh is taking advantage of every opportunity to prepare for her future in healthcare. She is working toward earning both her Nurse Aide I and CCMA certifications while also participating in Novant Health’s Bridges to Healthcare Program. Her dedication, hard work, and commitment to building real-world skills are a great example of ! 💙

Our CTE students are putting their learning into practice today! From testing deception to engineering stronger structures and bringing robots to life, our students are learning by doing:

🔬 Principles of Biomedical Science: Using a polygraph to explore how deception can be detected.
🛠️ Introduction to Engineering: Reshaping paper to maximize its strength and create stronger supports.
🤖 Robotics: Building and programming their very first VEX BaseBot!
