Dear Parents & Guardians,

We have made a few changes to our release-time process to help keep dismissal safe and organized for everyone.

When you arrive for pickup, please pull forward to Spots 1–3. Each spot is clearly labeled on the cones and indicates where your child(ren) will be released.

Please Remember:
• Follow the traffic line and pull forward as directed.
• Do not cut off or pass cars or buses.
• Please do not pull ahead or go around the traffic line.
• Pull into the designated pickup spot shown on the cones.

Parents, please be aware that after 2:00PM, we will NO LONGER be able to make changes to a student’s pickup plan unless it is an emergency.

If your child needs a different pickup arrangement, PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE BEFORE 2:00PM.

Calling ahead allows us time to communicate the change with staff and helps us maintain a smooth, safe, and organized release process.

What do you love about your school? How can we better serve your school, your student, and your community?

Those are some of the questions Superintendent Melissa Cole hopes to explore as she begins her first school year with Klamath County School District.

Superintendent Cole will be visiting schools across the district for a series of community engagement listening sessions, creating opportunities to hear from students, families, staff and community members about what is working, where there are opportunities to grow, and what they envision for the future of KCSD.
