The HS Lady Eagles finished the Electra Volleyball Tournament today. These ladies battled some tough competition and fought hard each set! Each girl is improving individually and gaining confidence everytime we hit the court and it is so much fun to watch! We are so proud of how much growth this team is showing each match! Congratulations to Cheyane Martinez for being selected to the All-Tournament Team! Thank you to all the parents and fans that came out and cheered on this team! The 8th grade and Varsity Teams will be traveling to Rule on Tuesday, August 25th starting at 5:00pm.

Huge thanks to the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution for presenting Chillicothe Elementary with Texas: Before the Lone Star! Texas DAR members Suzanne Butler, Janet Sutton, Diane Phillips, Judy Campsey, Kim Jones, and Kathy Butler stopped by to share this wonderful historical book with our students as part of a project celebrating the unique history of our great state.

The Lady Eagles hosted Goldburg this afternoon and came away with a 3 set VICTORY: 25-14, 25-13, 25-19! I am so very proud of how we are showing improvement every match! Thank you to all the parents and fans that came out and cheered us on to VICTORY!
