Dear Pickaway-Ross Families,

We received another bomb threat early this morning. Although the call repeated the message from the previous threats, we take every threat seriously and have followed all established safety protocols. Student and staff safety remains our highest priority.

Ross County Sheriff’s deputies have already been on campus and completed a building sweep. Campus monitoring and security checks are also complete. Law enforcement has determined there is no threat and has cleared the building as safe.

With these safety procedures completed before students arrive, the school will operate on its normal schedule today.

We understand that these repeated threats are stressful for students and families. We are working closely with law enforcement and following our safety procedures to ensure our campus is safe before students arrive.

Thank you for your continued patience and support as we work with the Ross County Sheriff’s Department to keep our school community safe.

Dear Pickaway-Ross Families,

Law enforcement has officially cleared our building and deemed it safe for students and staff to return. The building has been swept, and we checked our security measures, including verifying that everyone who entered or exited was accounted for.

The threat we received early this afternoon was the same message we received last Monday. We take every threat seriously and worked with the Ross County Sheriff’s Department to follow our established safety protocols.

All students remain safe and accounted for and are returning to the building to wrap up the school day.

Thank you for your patience and support. We appreciate our students and staff for following safety procedures, and we thank the Ross County Sheriff’s Department for its response.

Dear Pickaway-Ross Families,

Early this afternoon, we received another AI-generated threat similar to those received by other school districts in our area. We take all threats seriously and are working with the Ross County Sheriff’s Department to follow our established safety protocols.

Students have been taken to our designated evacuation points away from the building. All students are safe and accounted for.

We will share additional updates as soon as we can. Thank you for your patience and support.

From the classroom to a local store shelf! 🛍️

Students in Mrs. Cormany’s class in our satellite program at Adena High School are putting their creativity to work through Warrior Works, a student-run enterprise creating custom-engraved gifts, home décor and personal items.

Their Frankfort signs, tumblers and Christmas ornaments recently debuted at Frankfort Hardware & Gifts, and more orders are already coming in! Custom orders are available, including personalized snowman ornaments. ⛄

With more products and a page in the works, students are building skills in craftsmanship, customer service and entrepreneurship.

Thank you to Frankfort Hardware & Gifts for supporting our students and helping their ideas reach the community! 👏
