We are the Cavalier Orchestra Program of the Chillicothe City School District. Starting our journey in the 5th grade and gracefully ending once we have received our diploma in the 12th grade. Beginning with our first steps in pizzicato and finishing with advanced skills and techniques in bowing, vibrato, and shifting. Our program is so lucky to have many different after opportunities for growth as
an individual player and an ensemble player. From the different private instructors that you can take lessons with, to the after school ensembles that are available for students to participate within. The well know high school string ensemble performs for anything from weddings to the Chillicothe High School Top 10 Dinner Event each year! The HS Orchestra has received multiple Superior ratings at State OMEA Adjudicated Events. But, there is more to orchestra in the Cavalier society than just performing! Each year we have events that are planned to simply have fun and bond! This is only a small "snip bit" of what our Orchestra Program is in The Home of The Cavaliers!
