The Chilhowee R-IV School District is excited to welcome Mr. Dylan Bloom as our new K-12 Physical Education Teacher!

Mr. Bloom is a 2022 graduate of Clinton High School and is passionate about helping students develop the skills, confidence, and love for physical activity that lead to lifelong healthy habits. His experiences in sports have shaped his philosophy of Physical Education and inspired him to create positive, engaging learning experiences for all students.

In addition to his background in athletics, Mr. Bloom enjoys pickleball, disc golf, running, going to the gym, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.

We are thrilled to have Mr. Bloom join our team and look forward to the energy, enthusiasm, and innovative ideas he will bring to our students and school community. Please join us in giving Mr. Bloom a warm Chilhowee welcome! ❤️🖤

The Chilhowee R-IV School District is seeking a PreK-12 Library Media Specialist for the 2026-2027 school year!
This position includes:
✅ Teaching Elementary Library classes
✅ Overseeing Launch and Dual Credit students
✅ Managing the daily operations of our school library

Why Chilhowee?

The Chilhowee R-IV School District is pleased to announce the hiring of Azriel Hartwig as our new full-time custodian! Azriel is no stranger to Chilhowee. For several summers, he has worked alongside our custodial staff, helping prepare our school for a successful new year. His hard work, dedication, and positive attitude have already made a lasting impression on our district. 🎉 Join Us for the 2026-2027 Back to School Bash! 🎉

We are excited to welcome students and families back for another great school year!

📅 Thursday, August 20, 2026
⏰ 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM

During the Back to School Bash, students and families will have the opportunity to:
✅ Pick up schedules
✅ Get locker assignments and organize lockers
✅ Meet new and returning teachers
✅ Visit with community organizations in the gym

📚 Elementary families will also be able to sign up for Parent-Teacher Conferences, which will be held on Monday, October 12th.

We can't wait to see everyone and kick off an amazing school year together!

🏀⚾🏐 Attention 6th–12th Grade Student Athletes and Parents:
A required parent meeting for all students interested in participating in sports will be held in the gym at 6:30 PM immediately following the Back to School Bash.
