We were honored to welcome back many of our beloved graduates at our Aloha Dinner Auction last weekend. Our alumni turned out in record numbers to volunteer at the event and to attend as dinner guests. Several graduates were high bidders and went home with auction prizes. Thank you, alumni, for returning to MAA and showing your support for the school and the Oblate Sisters.

With the Feasts of Saint Leonie Aviat on January 10th and Saint Francis de Sales on January 24th, it’s a time to celebrate Mount Aviat’s rich spiritual heritage! The lives of generations of MAA graduates and staff members have been impacted by the example and teachings of these great saints. That tradition continues today. Let us pray that future MAA graduates learn the joy that comes from working for the happiness of others.

We also are deeply saddened to share the passing of Mrs. Anne Slater. Mrs. Slater taught 2nd Grade at Mount Aviat for 20 years and volunteered at Mount Aviat after her retirement for 10 more years. Her sincere and unwavering dedication to Mount Aviat and the Oblate Sisters was remarkable.
