Kids Artistic R***e 2022 is officially in the books! It was such a beautiful weekend filled with love and dance. Our Haus company dancers were on fire all.weekend.long! We’ve been preparing for our first regional competition as a whole team since the summer. From summer to now, we as a team have stood strong in the face of adversity many different times. We have pushed and powered through tough times when we all felt like giving up only to come out even stronger each time! This is nothing short of proof that hard work and dedication will ALWAYS pay off, no matter what.
We spent the weekend dancing alongside some very talented dancers and studios from all over the southeast region of the US. It was jam packed with almost 500 entries and only 20 of those entries were ours. The best part is we got to share the stage with two other talented studios from our area in Talladega county. To Pressure Pointe Performing Arts Company & Centre Stage Dance Academy, thank you for your camaraderie all weekend long. It’s such an awesome thing to see all of our kiddos cheering for each other on stage and supporting each other no matter the studio they choose to represent. We have something very special here in our small town ♥️

🎊 TOP PRIMARY STUDIO OF EXCELLENCE 🎊
This award is the BEST of them all!!! In order to achieve this high level of recognition, a studio must have at least one entry in every division of competition: solo, duo/trio, small group, and large group. The studio with the most high points and elite top first adjudications is deemed the Studio of Excellence. To say that we are proud is an understatement. We were the smallest studio there! Our 12 total company dancers DID THAT! Only 12!!! At Haus of Dance, we truly believe in quality over quantity. We have worked so hard for this. We have trained for this. We did exactly what we came to do. To work hard for something and get the results you wanted is no greater feeling! We always strive for excellence, even in the classroom. We do have fun, and laugh, and cut up… but at the end of the day, we know what we are there for. We tell our students often, “You earn your trophies and winnings at practice, you just pick them up at competitions.” and they did just that. They work hours upon hours to perfect their dances for not only for everyone to see their hard work, but also themselves.
We set goals at Haus of Dance and we achieve goals at Haus of Dance. The standard is excellence, always.
To our parents, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for entrusting us with your child’s dance education. Without you all, we would not have accomplished what we did yesterday. Thank you for staying committed and always seeing my crazy ideas through. The support from each of you from start to now has been very humbling.
To our staff and instructors, thank you for pouring your knowledge into our dancers. We are stronger and better because of you! Without you guys, this would not be possible. Mr. Christon, Ms. Starr, and Ms. Breena… thank you for everything each of you bring to the table. Mr. Jayden, thank you for always being there and being the best Haus dad for all our kiddos! We are a dream team and a powerHAUS.
To my incredibly talented students, we’re not just a team, we are a family. Tiny, but mighty. Don’t ever count us out or underestimate us… excellence sometimes comes in small packages 👏🏼 I’m very proud of each of you. You guys set a goal and achieved that goal. I couldn’t ask for better kiddos!
To bring home Studio of Excellence to Childersburg in year 1 of business means more to us than anyone could ever imagine. We are officially the area’s leading Studio of Excellence… and there is no greater feeling. ♥️
