Happy Thanksgiving to All!
The EXPRESS deck loaded with KING CRAB at Adak Alaska in the mid-1960's. Once one of Lowell Wakefields' fleet of Bering Sea Crabbers in 1952 dragging for King Crab. She went back to using pot gear to fish for King Crab from 1963 to 1974.

Anchored at Chignik Lagoon August 2023.
While waiting for parts to rebuild the port main engine it was time to start some detail work on the galley floor to honor the rich history of the vessel.

Sorry news for salmon markets.

Even Prince William Sound--whose first Copper River salmon often bring with it eye-popping prices-- saw declines in value compared to last year.
