Chicopee Public Schools is pleased to announce the relocation of its Central Administrative Offices to 229 Exchange Street.

The following departments are now open at the new location:

- Central Enrollment
- Human Resources
- Business Department
- Family and Community Engagement (FACE)
- Transportation

As these departments and many of our public-facing staff are now located at Exchange Street, we encourage community members to visit 229 Exchange Street for the best assistance and accessibility.

Parking and Public Entrance: Visitor parking and the public entrance (lower level) are located at the rear of the building and are accessed from Front Street.

During this transition, 134 Dulong Circle will remain open until August 10 for departments and employees that have not yet relocated. Some administrative offices and staff will continue operating from Dulong Circle until the move is complete.

By August 10, all Chicopee Public Schools administrative offices will be fully transitioned to 229 Exchange Street. We look forward to welcoming our students, families, staff, and community members to our new home in Chicopee Center.

We're excited to share that major improvements are underway this summer at both the Chicopee Comprehensive High School and Chicopee High School athletic complexes! As part of these projects, both running tracks are being completely resurfaced to provide safer, high-quality facilities for our student-athletes and school community.

While this work is underway, the tracks and all infield athletic areas at both schools will be closed to the public through at least the end of September.

We know these facilities are enjoyed by many members of our community, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding while this important work is completed. Though the temporary closure may be an inconvenience, these upgrades are an investment in facilities that will serve our students and community for years to come.

🌧️ SUMMER MEALS WEATHER UPDATE – TODAY (WEDNESDAY, JULY 29) 🌧️

Due to the flood watch and forecasted heavy rain, we’ve made a few adjustments to today’s Summer Eats program to keep everyone safe:

🍽️ Indoor School Meal Sites (Bowie, Lambert-Lavoie, and Bellamy) are operating as scheduled, with lunches served indoors.

🥪 Outdoor School Meal Sites (CHS, CCHS, Barry, Bowe, Fairview, and Stefanik) are offering grab-and-go lunches. If it gets unsafe to serve we will update this post.

🚫 Our Williams Park meal site is CLOSED today and no meals will be served at that location.

🚚 The Chicopee Fresh Food Truck will NOT be visiting any parks today. Instead, we will be serving free meals indoors at the Chicopee Public Library Children’s Activity Room from 12:30–2:00 PM.

🎨 Crafts and activities will only take place at our indoor school sites today (Bowie, Lambert-Lavoie, and Bellamy).
