Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the countless individuals, families, and communities forever changed by that day.

This morning, members of the Chicopee Comprehensive High School community gathered for a solemn flag ceremony marking the 25th anniversary of September 11. Students, staff, members of the Chicopee Police Department, Superintendent Dr. Marcus Ware, and Mayor John Vieau came together to honor those we lost and reflect on the courage, service, and unity that emerged in the days, months, and years that followed.

We are grateful to our first responders and to all those who continue to serve and protect our community. We will always remember.
