2026 REACH Exhibit Each year, our elementary REACH students have the opportunity to apply the research and problem solving skills they’ve developed by completing historical research projects, an invention convention project of their choice and passion projects. These projects include in-depth research and multimedia

We hope to see everyone this Thursday as we celebrate the rich diversity of our Barry Elementary School community!

Room 30 took a trip to Greece without leaving the classroom!

This week, students had a special visit from a guest who shared information about Greece, its culture, and traditions through an engaging slideshow and hands-on artifacts. Students also had the opportunity to learn a few Greek dances with the help of some extra instructors, making the experience even more memorable!

The learning continues next week as students create their own Greek coins out of clay. What a fun and interactive way to explore another country and culture!

Tonight: Dupont Step up Night!

Families are invited to attend Dupont Step Up Night on Wednesday, June 3rd, from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM!

This is a great opportunity to learn more about the upcoming school year, meet staff, explore classrooms, and get excited about the next step in your child's educational journey.

Kindergarten is an exciting milestone filled with learning, growth, new friendships, and fun experiences. We can't wait to welcome our newest students to our school community.

The 5th Grade band put on a wonderful performance last week.

A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by our Art and STEAM showcase tonight!! It meant so much to see so many families come out to support the arts.

Congratulations to Barry Second Grade Teacher: Miss Grasso on earning the Pioneer Valley Excellence in Teaching Award! This is a well deserved award for our second year teacher who is amazing at what she does! It's hard to believe that she's just starting out- we are so lucky and proud to have her at Barry! Congratulations Miss Grasso!

In Ms. Botta's first grade class, there’re working on an end-of-the-year creativity to be hung in our room. Students are making 3-D plants and writing about something they’ve learned this year to help them grow!
