Welcome Kristi!

Kristi graduated in May 2013 majoring in Graphic Design. She currently works for the Excel Instore. Her position responsibilities include creating artwork for print with the beauty industry, preflighting client art for retail and coordinating graphic exchange with other companies (local and international.) She also creates instruction sheets, prototypes, graphic setup, and 3D conceptual renderings for retail displays and signage. The job also includes process improvement meetings, documenting, and speaking eloquently in email threads. “Petting the office dogs is also required.”

Kristi’s favorite memory from the Elms program was to be able to do an internship with her peers and how cool it was for all of them to come together to create valuable business materials for real clients. ‘The Community really makes the program special. Working hard and seeing the fruits of our labor come together really stuck with me.’

The lab uses Huion and Wacom Cingtiq On screen drawing tablets.

Welcome Natalie!

Natalie is a Graphic Design Major here at Elms. She has always been interested in art but when coming to college for the first time, she wasn’t too sure what she was going to do. Her art teacher suggested dabbling in the Graphic Design area and since then, she has enjoyed it. Her career goal is to become an animator one day or become a digital media editor. Natalie enjoys writing, drawing, and playing video games, specifically Pokemon.

Welcome Brendan!

Brendan graduated back in May of 2015 with a degree in CIT and with a concentration in Graphic Design. He currently works for CSW Inc. “CSW is the connection between agencies, brand owners and printers with the technologies and creativity to deliver a more cohesive, powerful brand image. Brendan works as a pre press designer. He is responsible for color correction, color separation, setting up graphics to follow specific press specifications, layout composition, and art re-creation. A favorite memory he had at Elms was the internship and doing real work for local businesses.
