There are many times we are praying for a specific outcome or trying to manifest a specific thing.
It is more important to pray for and cultivate the qualities that maintain that thing, like the dedication and patience it takes to run a business, compassion we need in order to have the meaningful relationships, life management skills to have the nice house or car we dream of..
I always pray for my students at the end of class, that they are to love and be loved..
What is it to pray to for that?
Its to pray for patience, kindness, forgiveness, understanding, humbleness to grow inside yourself for yourself and others.. seeds that grow you into the person that can meaningfully receive those things back..
Discovering what qualities you need to cultivate takes alone time, breath work and a spirit of curiosity. It’s an act of pulling positive emotions out from the your limbic system, it requires a relaxed state.
It’s practice and a way of being.
