Next week on Wednesday, May 9th is National Walk and Bike to School Day!
Join in on this fun event and leave your gas powered wheels behind!
Strap on your helmet, lift up your kickstand and join this fun event!
Remember to leave home early enough to get to school early and enjoy some snacks and refreshments waiting when you arrive!
Please remember the importance of modeling bike safety!

We are having our first ever Silent Journey and Discovery event at our school this Wednesday evening. This is a parent education workshop that is an ideal way for communities to understand and appreciate the experience of the Montessori student. ❤️

We have a handful of spaces still open for the event, which will run from 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8th. We learned that some parents and family members would have liked to attend, but finding child care was problematic. Our very kind and generous Education Specialist, Justin Allan, has offered to open his classroom, a.k.a. the Learning Center, during the program so that these parents can attend.

The teachers have been preparing for the event, and have spent hours preparing and planning for it. Please sign up here

The work party for the Parade of Lights is tomorrow from 6-9pm, at the Idea Fab Lab (603 Orange Street). We will have pizza and fizzy water. Please bring whatever building materials you may be willing to part with, including but not limited to:

old cabinets/cabinet doors
plywood
exterior paint (any color)
caulk
screws
anything that can be repurposed to make or decorate a little library

*If you bring your children, they are YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. There will be dangerous objects around! (Please try to find childcare)
