What a wonderful way to wrap up the school year! 🎉Our last day of school was filled with celebration as we recognized our graduates, celebrated students moving up to the next grade level, honored our beloved Kindergarten teacher Teresa on her retirement, and enjoyed an exciting Field Day together. Wishing everyone a safe, fun, and relaxing summer! 🌞 🌻😎 We can’t wait to see what next year brings!!

Spring is in full swing at Sherwood Montessori’s TK/K campus! 🐣🌱Yesterday was full of excitement as our chicks began hatching and our pea plants absolutely exploded over the weekend ready to be harvested by our eager kinders! There’s something so special about watching children celebrate new life, care for living things, and enjoy the delicious peas they raised themselves. Hands-on learning at its best! 💚

Another amazing Career Day in the books! We loved seeing such a wide range of inspiring careers shared with our students. A huge thank you to Stacy Gertz, our middle school teacher who coordinated the whole event, everyone who generously gave their time and energy, and to our very own middle school band, The Epic Math Squad, for bringing the fun!

A heartfelt thank you to all the families who joined us for our Winter Wonderland Family Ball last month! ❄️✨ It was a magical evening filled with dancing, laughter, and wonderful moments shared by students, friends, and families.

A special shoutout to our incredible SMPO volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to organize this event and make sure everything ran so smoothly. Your dedication helps create the strong, joyful community that makes our school so special.

Each year our TK-K students celebrate the 100th day of school with joy, creativity, and lots of counting- plus the cutest 100-year-old outfits! 💯👏

Now Enrolling for the 2026-27 School Year! 🐺

Snowpeople Day is a beloved tradition in our transitional kindergarten/kindergarten classroom each winter. The snowpeople are beautiful expressions of creativity and individuality. They represent a balance of independence and interdependence that is reflective of a Montessori classroom. The children are given freedom of expression and our parent community volunteers give the children the support they need to be successful with their creation.⛄️
