This message is for all of you who took Steffani's class for Diagnostic Methods. The last day to submit the SET for her is this Friday, April 29th. She's giving us extra credit if the majority of us turn it in.

CMSD Friendsgiving 2015

We did it!!!! I can't believe how fast this semester went by. For those of you who still have finals, good luck! For those of you who are done with finals, have a safe trip and/or an awesome summer!!

Congratulations to us! We won the Speech and Hearing Fair Fundraiser. We'll be getting our prize next Thursday, after Bell's final, so stick around!

Posting momentarily for those who haven't checked their emails or heard already...

"Dear CMSD 488 students:

As you are aware, we are in the unfortunate situation to have to have students move from CMSD 488-01 Dr. Von Berg's section (TR 11-12:15pm) to the second section with Dr. McCoy (MWF 10-10:50am). The problem occurred because the enrollment max for each section was set to the room size NOT the section max at the time of registration.

Because 488 is a WP course, the enrollments are required by the university to not exceed 30; however, we have been allowed to move forward with a few more in each section. At this point, the first section has 46 students (thank you to those two who were able to move over recently), and the second section has 26.

I looked into changing the section 2 to a TR class, but there are no rooms available on campus. So, to remedy this situation, I'd like to first make a second request for students to voluntarily move to section 2. If not enough students change sections we will need to have a lottery to choose students to move. For those in section 1 please seriously consider changing sections now. By Tuesday morning, I will check enrollments and make the determination as to the next steps. I will inform you of the outcome in your Tuesday class with Dr. Lawrence.
