Reading Pals is on our campus this year!
We are looking for volunteers to spend 1-hr a week reading with students on campus who just need a little extra dose of help to catch up this year. We have a reading center on campus and a very easy curriculum to use with the students- if you can read, you can help a student boost their confidence in reading! Join us today or perhaps you know of a grandparent, aunt, uncle or friend that might enjoy volunteering 1 hr a week on campus. The program runs M-TH 8-9am and MW 2-3pm. Help us spread the word! To sign up visit: readingpalschico.org or email: [email protected]

Girls on the Run is SO MUCH FUN…
and WAY MORE THAN A RUNNING PROGRAM!
Would you like to make a BIG difference in the lives of young girls from our school this spring?
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A RUNNER to Coach!
Our program is run 100% by volunteers who are kind, nurturing and encouraging individuals to be role models and mentors for the girls.
We are looking for nice, nurturing volunteers to help lead small teams of 6-12 3rd-5th grade girls in a fun, empowering program that BUILDS their Self Confidence while also teaching them CRITICAL LIFE SKILLS to help navigate the world in healthy ways.
Now more than ever - our girls could really benefit from the social emotional aspects of the GOTR curriculum...! The positive, inclusive aspects of the program are so on point for everything our girls are facing right now. The curriculum is modified to make it so girls and coaches can meet outside, safely and in-person.
“…my days are often hectic and busy. After Girls on the Run practice I am FULL of energy, life & joy!" -Teacher and GOTR Coach Sarah
