As summer progresses, so does the exciting work on our new campus! Each week brings visible progress and it’s exciting to see our vision become a reality!

We can’t wait to start the 2026-2027 school year at our new campus and welcome students, families and staff into a space built for learning, growth, and connection.

Our new campus is located at 1050 Fremont St, Chico

Congratulations to the Class of 2026!

With their hard work behind them, 84 seniors from the 15th class of Inspire School of Arts and Sciences walked the stage Wednesday evening at Laxson Auditorium, commemorating their high school legacy with art and song.

Join our Python Power Up Camp happening June 22 - 26 and learn to speak the language of computers! This beginner-friendly camp is perfect for anyone who's curious about programming. Using Python, a popular and easy-to-learn language, you'll master the basics of coding, from variables and input/output to conditional statements and loops – the building blocks of any program. Through hands-on projects, you'll build your own mini-programs and see your code come to life! We will also take a look at the many different careers that use coding, from web developers, to data scientists, to game developers, and beyond! No prior experience is needed, just your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Get ready to unlock the power of programming and start your coding adventure!

🎓Our Senior Highlight today is Lucia L!

I initially wanted to come to Inspire for the art classes offered and the small class sizes, but I stayed for the interdisciplinary approaches to learning that were part of many of my classes.

Throughout my time here, I have cultivated a passion for both science and humanities, and my future plans reflect that. I was accepted into the College of Letters & Sciences at UC Berkeley, where I intend to major in Integrative Biology and Chicanx/Latinx Studies.

I would love to thank the social studies department. Mojica, DLT, and North have helped me feel more confident, especially in my academic abilities, and will likely remain some of my favorite teachers. Additionally, I would like to thank Kelley (favorite English teacher ever! Amazing feedback on every essay, engaging class!), Peek (inspired me to continue with science into my future), and Isern (I couldn’t have asked for a better advisor).

🌞 Join us for our Unplugged Game Design Camp happening June 8-12! No experience needed, just bring your imagination! We’ll dive into the exciting world of game design using everyday materials you can find around the house. Think cardboard, dice, cards, and more! You’ll learn the fundamentals of game design: crafting rules, creating challenges, and making sure your game is FUN for everyone. We’ll explore different types of games, from board games to card games to active games you can play with your friends. Plus, we’ll take a peek behind the curtain at the amazing careers that await in the game industry, from designers to programmers. Get ready to brainstorm, build, test, and play your own original games in a week of creative fun!

🌞 What a bittersweet day, today was our last DOP on the old Inspire campus! We celebrated with snow cones, performances, games, and lots of yearbook signings. This campus holds so many amazing memories, and while it's hard to say goodbye, we can't wait to start a new chapter and make even more memories on our new campus this fall.
