CSU, Chico Crop Science & Horticulture Club A student-led organization bringing people together with a common interest in agriculture, crop scie

The foundation of the Crops and Horticulture club is to help establish and strengthen the bond between the student population and the local agriculture community. The clubs aim is to show its members exactly what service the local agriculture community provides. For example, local growers have the ability to specialize their crops, due in part to the small size of the operations relative to large corporation farms, thus allowing them to grow heirloom varieties of popular vegetables and fruits. Working with these local growers will allow students to both gain and implement the teachings they have gained in the classroom opening another avenue for students to continue to grow both as well-rounded students and individuals.

Hello fellow Crops Club Members, welcome back to school!! We would like to invite you guys to our first club meeting this Wednesday (January 30th). We will meet in Plumas Hall 303 at 6 pm. Pizza will be provided and we have a fun activity so come join us and bring your friends!
