It's finally here. Back to School Week! Whether your sprout is walking through these doors for the very first time or heading back for another year, we are so glad you're here. To our new families: welcome to the Ho**er Oak community. And to our returning sprouts: welcome back, look how much you've grown!

🌟 Wed, Aug 12 — TK/K Welcome to School Night, 4:00–5:30 (Parents only. Parent meeting first, then classroom presentations)
🌟 Thu, Aug 13 — FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! Parent Welcome Breakfast at 8:15 in the MPR, sponsored by your PTO. Come grab a coffee and say hi
📌 Thu, Aug 13 — PBIS Kick-off Assembly, 10:30 in the MPR
📌 Fri, Aug 14 — Aloha Friday! Break out the florals and tropical prints (this one repeats every Friday in August)

🌱 Look what a summer can do. 💚

What was once an overgrown space has been transformed into a thriving garden that’s already growing vegetables, flowers, and opportunities for our students to learn.

These before-and-after photos are a reminder of what can happen when dedicated volunteers roll up their sleeves and dream big.

Each classroom has been assigned a carnival booth or activity, and we’re asking families to help cover volunteer spots throughout the evening 💚

🎂✨ The Ho**er Oak Carnival Cake Decorating Contest is officially ON!

Break out the frosting, sprinkles, creativity, and a little chaos — we want to see your cake creations 🎡🍰

Student and adult entries are both welcome, and winners will take home carnival wristbands!

Cute cakes. “I can’t believe it’s cake” cakes. Fancy cakes. Totally over-the-top cakes. We can’t wait to see what our Ho**er Oak families create 💚

All entries are due by the end of the school day on Friday, May 29th!
