Rosedale is the only school in the Chico Unified School District to offer the Two Way Spanish Immersion Program. Teachers, staff and students respect each other and strive to develop each student's unique potential in a safe and enriched learning environment.
During the week of Spring Intersession, March 14–18, students can have up to 5 days of absences erased from their attendance record. To qualify your child(ren) must attend the full four-hour morning program from 7:30–11:30 am for each day they were absent. I hope that you will take advantage of this wonderful opportunity! The extended program will be from 11:30 – 4:00. Please come to our office for an application.
Pertussis Booster
Pertussis is widespread. If your child is 10 years and older and has not yet received the Tdap pertussis booster shot, please contact your doctor or health department. Beginning July 1, 2012 and beyond, all students entering the 7th grade will need proof of a Tdap booster shot before starting school.
Rosedale’s Science Fair is March 1 – 3rd. We will be hosting a Science Fair night on March 3rd from 5:30 – 7:30 pm in the MPR. All projects must be turned in by March 1st. Winning projects will advance to the Chico Science Fair, March 28th – April 1st.
The Hershey's Invitational will be held Sunday, March 27, 2011 @ Chico High School Track, rain or shine. For more information, or to add your child email Kym @ [email protected].
