Mandatory Athlete Committed Presentation: A mandatory presentation for all spring athletes who have NOT previously attended this presentation with at least one parent will be held in Varley Gym on March 7, 2010 at 6:00pm Attendance is REQUIRED if you did not attend the Winter presentation.

Butte County Behavioral Health announces job openings for students 16-24 years of age to identify and assist homeless teens and their families. Wage is $8/hour. You must have transportation and be available to work 6-10 hours/wk. Job announcements are available in the Career Center. Application deadline is 5:00 p.m. March 4, 2011. Calling All Musicians

Reg-to-Go: The third assessment test for Butte College Reg-to-Go is today after school in the PV library. If your name appears on the list in the Career Center window, make sure to bring your Butte ID # and a photo ID to get into the test. Allow for three hours of test time.

Attention Senior Parents: Grad Night Volunteer Committee needs you! Safe & Sober Grad Night relies 100% on volunteers to make this huge event a success. We need many volunteers for a variety of roles during this all night event. Please consider your time a gift to our graduates. 'Athlete Committed' Mandatory Spring Presentation: Athletes wanting to participate in a spring sport are REQUIRED to attend this presentation on Monday, March 7, 2011. Time to be determined.

CHSEE: All 10th grade students will take the California High School Exit Exam tomorrow and Wednesday, February 2, 2011. Students must pass this test in order to graduate from a California high school.

SENIORS: If you plan to attend Butte College next fall, you MUST (1) apply online and (2) sign up in the Career Center for an assessment. You will need a Butte ID # to sign up for/and take the assessment. The first assessment date is Wednesday, February 16, 2011. Act now!

The Cal Alumni Association invites prospective freshman applicants to UC Berkeley (Cal) to apply for The Leadership Award – one of the most prestigious merit-based scholarships available to Cal students. Apply now at www.alumni.berkeley.edu/leadership. Deadline is February 24, 2011.

The Leadership Award | CAA The Leadership Award is a one-year, merit-based scholarship that recognizes Cal students who demonstrate innovative, motivational leadership impacting their academic, work, or community environments. Students compete for the scholarship every academic year.

Job Fair: There will be a job fair at Mt. Shasta Mall on Saturday, January 29 and Sunday, January 30. If you will be 18 by this summer and are interested in a summer job with the U.S. Forest Service, National Park Service or U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, make sure to attend this job fair.
