The ASL sign for BED is used by many parents and children to talk about the concept of sleep and to identify the place to sleep, such as a bed or crib. The sign for SLEEP/BED can be used to remind your child when it is time to take a nap or to go to bed. Plus, many children use this sign to tell their parents when they are sleepy and are ready to go to sleep.
