Hey Wildcats!!

CTA-AE is having a in person general meeting! We will be meeting Thursday, September 24th in Glen 102 at 5:30! This is a great way to connect with our board members and advisors! We will be going over benefits of membership, Proposition 3, and getting to know each other. If you’re interested in becoming more involved such as a board member this is the place to be!

CTA-AE is having our First General Meeting of the Fall Semester! We will be meeting via Zoom, this is a great way to connect with our board members and advisors! We will be planning our upcoming event and if you’re interested in becoming more involved such as a board member this is the place to be! A little late…. but we went to CTA SPRING CONFERENCE 2026! 🌆

We had such an amazing time here in LA! We love hearing from all the different chapters across California 🗣️.

We got to celebrate our graduating seniors and celebrate our different chapters accomplishments. With a Chico State Winning an award, the Most Notable Chapter Event for Cinderella Closet!

We can’t wait to use what we learned from other chapters to support our members and other future educators! 🧑‍🏫 👩‍🏫📚

Thank you to everyone involved for making this possible and having such a a great event 👏. Can’t wait for our ‘26 Fall Event to see everyone again! 🫶

The new academic year is coming soon, which means it’s time to apply for board positions! We are looking for board members positions to be filled, scan the Qr code for a quick description of board positions duties and to get the application.

We will be having a pop-up shop for DoubleGood Popcorn!! This 7 day long virtual event allows our club to receive 50% of funds!

Please consider supporting CTA-Aspiring Educators, Chico Chapter!

Funds will be used for membership fees, event organizing, and any expenses related to the club’s success! We would greatly appreciate any support, even spreading the word to others!

This is a VIRTUAL fundraiser, meaning anyone can place an order and have it delivered straight to their door! Popcorn can be shipped anywhere with United States, so please spread the word!

Cinderella’s Closet 2026 recap!

We appreciate everyone involved to help make this such a great weekend! It was great partnering with Chico Marketplace to make this event go smoothly. We got to have different raffle prizes and even were donated brand new prom attire for our students!We were so glad to see so many students getting the opportunity to find free prom attire. There were over 200 people who attended the 2 day long event and nearly 150 students left with a FREE prom outfit. We’re so grateful for our volunteers and everyone who donated clothing to help support our local high school students, even action news who helped us spread the word! We can’t wait till next year Cinderella Closet Season.

We had such a blast at our last event!!

Thank you to everyone who joined us with a fun and relaxing evening. There was music, paint, vases, and tons of flowers!! It was so nice to see some new faces and some of our familiar friends too. If you missed out on this fun event keep an eye out for our upcoming event coming soon!

No need to bring anything, just your student! This is a free community event! Join us for a fun and magical time, and hopefully you will find something that you love!

Spring is here, which means graduation is right around the corner! The California Teachers Association-Aspiring Educators Chico State chapter will be selling light blue graduation stoles to commemorate this milestone. They will have “EDUCATION” embroidered on them!

You can purchase yours for $40 on campus, in-person pick-up OR $45 shipped to you!

They will sell quickly, so be sure to get one before they sell out!

Hey Wildcats!! We hope you’re enjoying your spring break and getting the well deserved rest! To continue this relaxation, we are having a wonderful event next Thursday!

So please join us in welcoming the spring season!

Enjoy an evening of relaxation and creativity as you paint your own vase and create a beautiful bouquet. This event is a great opportunity to meet new people, relax, and unwind while enjoying music, snacks, and a positive atmosphere.

All supplies will be provided, bring yourself and a friend!
