DUE TO PENDING WINTRY WEATHER, EPWORTH CHRISTIAN DAY SCHOOL AND EPWORTH UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED ON THURSDAY.

Epworth day school will not be in session Monday due to inclement weather.

January 5th is El Dia de Reyes or Three Kings Day. Ms. Robena dressed in cultural clothing & celebrated with her class. Cultural learning experiences are fun & educational!

Lieutenant Bobby McFarland and Lieutenant Crystal McFarland from the Salvation Army visited Epworth Christian Day School. The children all got to ring the bell and put money in the kettle. Lieutenant Crystal shared with the children a brief history of the Salvation Army & it’s purpose.

EPWORTH CHRISTIAN DAY SCHOOL has a staff position open 10:00 - 6:00. It will include giving teachers breaks during nap-time and working in a toddler classroom 2:30-6:00. Text Rosa at 405-320-3553 or come by the daycare at 420 W Iowa Avenue for an application. If you only need a part time job, we will consider hiring 2:30-6:00.

Ms. Lesa’s classroom is learning about police officers and Ms. Judy’s classroom is learning about safety. As an enhancement activity for their classrooms Sergeant Lauren Jewell and Officer Walker Powell visited with the children today. The children enjoyed the experience!
