To all of our Academy Friends and Future Students of Karate and Cardio Kickboxing. Merry Christmas and a Very Happy and Blessed New Year! Wilcoxen's Family Academy will be closed from 22 December 2025 to 2 January 2026 for the Christmas & New Years Holidays. We will resume all training on 6 January 2026. I also extend an invitation to our Karate & Cardio Kickboxing Family and all former Students, to attend our annual Dojo Christmas Party on Thursday, 18 December 2025. The Party begins at around 5pm ish and go to 8pm ish. There will be food & drinks for all. Wear your favorite Christmas sweater! Or, come totally decorated! Oh! And be sure to bring your best tunes in a bucket, basket, box or bag for our Christmas Karaoke Sing Off. Looking forward to an evening of fun & fellowship! Sensei Cronauer.

Folks! Friends! Karate & Cardio Students! We are suspending our Friday evening Extra/Make-Up Classes for the remainder of this year. We will pick things up in January 2026. Hello Karate Family! It Is Christmas Time!!! I am giving all of you our upcoming schedule for the month of December 2024. Our Judo/Juijutsu Classes are postponed until next year. We will inform you of when we will resume classes. Our Friday Extra/Make-Up Classes are on a case-by-case basis for this month due to the Holiday Rush. We will have & conduct all classes up to the 17th of December. The 19th of December is our Dojo Christmas Party. Y'all are invited. Students may bring one friend. Be sure you explain our policy on one's ATTITUDE at our party. It is a "Pot-Luck" "Finger-Food" family event. You may bring something to bless us with. We have the drinks, flatware & the extras for our party. Student's, be ready to belt out your favorite Christmas Song. Karaoke is a requirement for YOU! This event will be our last "Class" for 2024. We will be closed/no classes from 23 December 2024 through 3 January 2025. All classes will resume on 6 January 2025.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! God has blessed us and our Nation! Be Grateful and Thankful that we are Americans and are able to enjoy what we have! Keep that in mind this season. So! Eat lots! Hug and smile at one another! Our Dojo will be closed this week, 25 through 29 November 2024 for the Thanksgiving Day Holiday. We will resume all classes beginning on the 2nd of December 2024. Students! Prepare yourselves! You better be practicing your First and Second Rules of Karate! And Kata! And Combinations! And Troubleshooting! We will see you all on the 3rd of December 2024, prepare to work hard and get sweaty! Oh! And make sure you practice your Christmas Song for our Dojo Christmas Party on the 19th! Sensei Cronauer. 🥋.

To all of our future Karate Students Cardio Kickboxing Students and Parents. We are a traditional Karate School based on the Shotokan System. Our style is Kihido Karate, The Shining Spirit Way. We also teach Judo/Juijutsu and Cardio Kickboxing (an exercise program utilizing karate techniques set to music). We are open on Mondays from 6 to 8pm for our Judo/Juijutsu Classes. Mr. Mike Bowman is our Judo/Juijutsu Instructor. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 to 6pm for our Youth Karate Classes (kids 3 to 18). Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6 to 7pm for our Cardio Kickboxing Classes. Tuesdays & Thursdays from 7 to 8pm for our Family Karate Classes (kids, parents & adults). And Fridays from 6 to 7pm is our Make-Up/Extra Training Class for all students. Tuition is $85.00 a month, for our Karate Classes, and $45.00 a month, for our Cardio Kickboxing. There are NO CONTRACTS for any of our classes. For our Karate Classes, both youth and family, there is an additional, one time, enrollment fee of $125.00, this is applied toward your student uniform, a white jacket & pants, your patches which are sewn onto the uniform, your first white belt (which one must earn) and your Karate Student Handbook. Cardio Kickboxing is included as a fitness bonus to your Karate Classes. We have group rates for families with two or more members enrolled. A great round of applause & congratulations go out to our three Senior Belt Testing Candidates for successfully accomplishing their formal belt test held on October 9th 2021 at Mr. Meli's farm. An arduous test indeed, beginning with a cross country run, the "horse-back-riding-stance" with knowledge & academic questions, a round of calisthenics, line drills, combination techniques, trouble shooting, rolls & falls, down & ground fighting, kata, and of course several rounds of sparring with our Black Belt Instructors. "Shout Outs" go to Tyler Williams earning his 1st Brown Belt, Gabriel Camp earning his Blue Belt & Conner Covington earning his Green Belt. A task well done gentlemen! Additionally we would like to thank our Karate Family for attending this test and supporting these three young men during their test, and to our Black Belt Instructors who put them through their paces. Thursdays class. I got our students to wish my mother, who just celebrated her 90th birthday, to do a shout out HAPPY BIRTHDAY MRS. CRONAUER. Awesome!

Congratulations to Ms. Abigail Kirksey for earning her First Gold Belt in Kihido Karate. Your essay was AWESOME! You scored 100% on your written exam, EXCELLENT! Your Karate techniques were spot on, especially your rolls & falls. You put in the time towards practicing, training & reviewing and it showed during your test. You did FANTASTIC! The Black Belt Instructors are highly IMPRESSED! You are on your way to a BLACK BELT! You do us PROUD! 👍👍👍
