Our students had a blast playing ER Tag with Mr. Flanagan in PE!

Here's how it works: Some students are the taggers, others are the “Whambulances” 🚑, and everyone else tries to avoid getting tagged! If tagged, students sit down and wait for a Whambulance to come to the rescue, carefully roll them to the “ER,” and get them back in the game!

This fun activity is about more than just running! Students practice teamwork, cooperation, following directions, safe tagging, and carefully transporting their classmates, all while getting some great exercise!

So many smiles, so much laughter, and lots of energy! ❤️

Our Lost & Found collection is getting bigger by the day! Please take a moment to look through the photos and see if you recognize any of your child's belongings.

If you spot something that belongs to your child, simply email your child's teacher or call the school office, and we'll make sure it gets back to them!

An Exciting Day with Author Jeff Kinney! Mrs. O’Leary, our librarian, recently took our 4th and 5th graders to the Capitol Center for the Arts for a special presentation by Jeff Kinney, author of the popular Diary of a Wimpy Kid series!

Our students were SO excited, they were even chanting “Jeff Kinney!” as they waited for the presentation to begin! Mr. Kinney put on a fantastic and engaging presentation that brought books, reading, and storytelling to life.

And the excitement didn’t stop there, each student received a signed book to take home!

A huge thank you to Mrs. O’Leary for providing our students with this memorable experience, to the Capitol Center for the Arts for hosting, and to Jeff Kinney for inspiring our young readers and authors!

What a great day to be a CCS reader! ❤️🖤
