Our hearts are broken.
The tragic loss of 7-year-old Eddimar has left an entire community grieving. A young life, filled with promise, innocence, and possibility, was taken far too soon in an act of senseless violence. No words can truly ease the pain her family is experiencing, and no explanation can make this tragedy acceptable.
Today, we pause to mourn with her loved ones. We pray for strength, comfort, and healing for a family facing the unimaginable.
As parents, neighbors, business owners, and members of our community, incidents like this force us to confront a difficult reality: while we cannot control every threat, we can strive to be more aware, more prepared, and more capable of recognizing danger before it reaches us or those we love.
At Sentry & Sage Collective LLC, our mission has never been about living in fear. It is about cultivating awareness, confidence, and preparedness.
We teach:
🔹 Personal Awareness – Understanding ourselves, our habits, and the mindset required to stay safe.
🔹 Environmental Awareness – Learning to recognize what is normal, what is out of place, and what deserves our attention.
🔹 Situational Awareness – Identifying potential threats early, making informed decisions, and creating opportunities to avoid danger whenever possible.
Nothing can bring back a precious child. Nothing can erase the heartbreak felt by her family or the pain felt throughout our city. But if tragedies like this inspire us to become more vigilant, more engaged, and more committed to protecting one another, then we honor her memory through action.
If you believe personal safety begins with awareness, we invite you to join us. Invest in yourself. Invest in your family. Learn the skills that help you recognize danger, avoid unnecessary risk, and protect what matters most.
📩 Message Sentry & Sage Collective LLC to learn more about our Situational Awareness and Personal Protection training programs for individuals, families, businesses, and community organizations.
Stay aware. Stay capable. Protect what matters most.
