They’re rehearsing notes and lyrics, but what we hear most is growth.

Watching our 8th graders prepare for graduation is such a full-circle moment. The same students who once walked in with little backpacks and nervous smiles are now standing taller, stronger, wiser, and ready for what’s next.

As they sang “Pulling Me Through,” we couldn’t help but think about all the moments that brought them here. The challenges, the laughter, the prayers, the perseverance, and the grace of God through it all…

And somehow… JESUS is still pulling them through. 🎓✨

Today we celebrate our praying, purposeful, and powerful principal. Mrs. Woods is a vessel who has allowed God to move freely through her life. Because of her yes, His plan continues to flourish. She faithfully sows into every leader and speaks life from PreK-3 all the way to 8th grade.

Watching Black children confidently speak Mandarin and celebrate Chinese New Year is quite powerful.

Representation matters. Exposure matters. Access matters.

Our children deserve to see themselves as global - fluent, fearless, and culturally aware. They can honor who they are while embracing the beauty of another culture. That’s not dilution - that’s expansion.

Black excellence is multilingual.
Black brilliance is global.
And our babies are proof. 🧧✨

🌤️🐿️ Happy Groundhog Day! 🐿️🌤️

Today our Pre-Kindergarten friends are learning all about Groundhog Day - a fun tradition where we see if the groundhog spots his shadow! 👀

Shadow or no shadow, our Pre K students are:
✨ Learning new vocabulary
✨ Talking about seasons and weather
✨ Making predictions like little scientists
✨ Having FUN while learning

Six more weeks of winter or an early spring… either way, learning is popping up all around us! 🌸📚
