I think we can all agree that although Lego's are awesome, accidentally stepping on them isn't 😝

As someone who's done this many times, I can absolutely say, there is no exaggeration in this photo comparison. 🤪

Happy national Lego day!

As adults, we often find naps to be relaxing and invigorating. The mere thought of taking a 2-3 nap during the day may sounds absolutely amazing to most (it sure does to me!).😴

But to little ones, taking a nap means taking a break away from playing, even though their growing bodies desperately need it.

So how can you incorporate naptime so that your child naps better and longer? Here are some tips!

1️⃣ Stay consistent. Stick to a consistent naptime schedule and try to work with your child's natural body clock. Look for cues that they're tired.

2️⃣ Routine matters. Establish a routine that your little one can associate with naptime, such as reading or soothing music.

3️⃣ Calm is key. Create a calming environment at least 30-minutes before naptime, such as turning off the TV and/or turning on a sound machine.

4️⃣ Keep it cozy. Make naptime cozy by changing them into comfortable sleeping gear. This might also mean getting their beds, pillows, and blankets ready.

5️⃣ Get them involved. Give them a naptime "job" such as cleaning up their toys, or choosing what stuffed animal to take to bed.

How's naptime going in your home? Make sure to save & share!

Can you believe It's already the end of the year? 😮 I have to admit, 2021 was filled with many ups and downs but overall, I’m grateful we got to spend it together.

I've had the wonderful privileging of hosting many amazing little friends at Play2Day this year and am looking forward to continue doing so in 2022 and beyond!🥰

My excitement for the new year really got me thinking about what I wanted my "word" for 2022 to be.

That word for me is "BLOOM". I've spent the last year laying the foundation and really "planting the seeds" in this business. In 2022, I'd like to focus on getting clear on goal setting and really being intentional about the overall growth of Play2Day.

I hear from parents everyday how we help to make their lives just a little bit easier--and that's exactly the fuel that keeps me going! Knowing that we are doing our part to serve the community and help these little ones learn, engage, and have fun in the process makes it all worthwhile!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for an amazing year, let's make 2022 great!🥂

What's your word of the year!? Let me know!👇

6️⃣ This Christmas sweater is from 2016 when my former roommate and I took Christmas card pictures together and sent them out to our friends and family 🤣
7️⃣ I just recently binged all 4 seasons of Selling Sunset in a matter of 2 weeks (have any of you seen it?!)
8️⃣ My first concert ever was *Nsync (and I'm still a fan)
