• The 60th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act

Today, we'd like to shine a spotlight on Surge alum Nicholas Wilson (PHILA23) who was accepted into New Leaders' National Aspiring Principal Fellowship.

This is a one-year online principal certification and master’s degree program designed with leaders of color to prepare equity-focused teachers for the principal role. New Leaders develops transformational, equity-minded school leaders and advances policies and practices that ensure high academic achievement for all children – especially students of color and students from communities with lower incomes.
