The Voice Lab, Inc. We are a proudly LGBT+ led voice and music lesson studio in Chicago and online all over the world!

We believe singing can heal, motivate, enliven, and enlighten. The voice is a highly personal instrument, and we take the responsibility of the care of your voice (and you, as a person who is singing) seriously. In light of this responsibility, our teachers are educated, diversely trained pedagogues and performers. Not only is it our job to meet every question you have about the inner workings of

the voice with a thoughtful and thorough explanation, it is also our goal to hear you and understand what choosing to take voice lessons means to you.

The talent narrative in a voice lesson can greatly impact students.
The talent narrative is “you got it or you don’t” and doesn’t take into account all the hard work people put into their voices, vocal health and hygiene, as well as how much thought goes into someone making sound with their voice.

It’s OK if the direction you want to take your voice and takes work!
