The University will be closed starting today, Friday, December 22, at 2 p.m. to Tuesday, January 2. We will reopen Wednesday, January 3. The first day of the spring 2024 semester is Tuesday, January 16.
The University will be closed from Thursday, November 23 to Sunday, November 26, and will reopen Monday, November 27 for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Senior Paralegal Mirena Fontana is a leader in her profession and feels strongly about encouraging the next generation in the legal field. She gave two presentations this week: Monday 10/30 she led a classroom discussion at Roosevelt University on topics ranging from Legal Technology used in Civil Litigation, Client Communication, New Case Intake Intricacies, Sensitivity, & Confidentiality, Troubleshooting and the Interview Process for Paralegals and Tips for Success. Then, on Wednesday 11/1, she led a Zoom Panel Q&A session - after a presentation about Civil Litigation - with Roosevelt University Paralegal Studies Program's Alumni Group Presents: “What Can You Do with a Paralegal Education?” Great job, Mirena!
On Thursday, September 21st – 2023 Paralegal Day in Illinois - a group of Roosevelt Paralegal students and alumni gathered together to take this picture at the Illinois Paralegal Association’s 2023 Summer Spectacular. The event was held at Offshore Rooftop on Navy Pier in Chicago. They talked, laughed, exchanged contact information, and thoroughly enjoyed the fellowship of the evening. A special thank you to Larice Davis, IPA Board of Directors, and Roosevelt Paralegal Alum for bringing the group together!

Congratulations to our paralegal student, Sohni Mallhi! Sohni was chosen to be a 2023 Fellow for the Mansfield Fellowship for Activism and Community Engagement (FACE). Through this prestigious fellowship, she joins a cohort of 15 Roosevelt University students in the summer of 2023. Fellows engage in classroom work for three full days to discuss the theory and practice of social justice work. They then locate or select a community-based or grassroots organization for a 10-week, 10-hour per week internship.
