Our hearts were full as we celebrated Mother’s & Loved Ones Day with so much joy, gratitude, and love. 💐

Our children worked so hard preparing a very special celebration for the important people in their lives. They proudly made and served food to their moms and loved ones, sang beautiful songs in Mandarin, Spanish, and English, and shared heartfelt moments that reminded us what childhood is truly about, love, connection, and appreciation.

Seeing the children beam with pride as they cared for and celebrated their families was incredibly touching. These are the moments that help build empathy, confidence, gratitude, and lifelong memories.

To all of the mothers, grandparents, family members, and loved ones who nurture, encourage, and love our children each day, thank you. Your love is the foundation that helps them grow into kind, capable, and compassionate human beings. ❤️

We ignited our minds and hearts by immersing ourselves in the vibrant festivities of Cinco de Mayo, empowering the next generation with handmade tortillas, radiating pride in traditional Mexican attire, and dancing with unbridled joy, unleashing their limitless potential and cementing an unshakeable connection.

There’s something so magical about childhood in the spring. 🌸🐣

Imagine your child running across the field, carefully searching for hidden eggs… the excitement of each new find, the proud little hands holding up their treasures, the laughter shared with friends along the way.

And then, the moment they meet the Spring Bunny, wide eyes, big smiles, and that pure, unforgettable joy.

These are the kinds of moments that fill our days. Not rushed, not forced, just children being children, feeling happy, connected, and completely themselves.

The kind of childhood you hope they always remember. 💛

Grandparents Day at MGP ❤️

Our classrooms were filled with three generations of learners. Grandparents joined their grandchildren in the prepared environment: observing, building, painting, reading, and experiencing Montessori work together.

It was beautiful to see children confidently guide the adults, demonstrating independence, concentration, and pride in their learning.

Education is strongest when home and school are connected. Thank you to our wonderful grandparents for being part of our community.

This year’s Lunar New Year celebration at our MGP Chicago campus reached a whole new level! 🧧

Our teachers thoughtfully designed immersive experiences that beautifully blended Lunar New Year traditions with Montessori philosophy. Classrooms came alive as children explored the meaning of the Spring Festival through hands-on cultural learning — creating red envelopes and lanterns, brushing gold-foil Fu characters, practicing calligraphy and chopsticks, crafting shadow puppets and fireworks, solving zodiac puzzles, and even shaping mooncakes and yuanxiao.

The grand finale — a vibrant lion dance performance — brought the joy and energy of the celebration to life for everyone.

What a true cultural feast. Huge thanks to our dedicated teachers for their creativity and heart. Our MGP children are incredibly fortunate to grow up immersed in such a rich multicultural environment — nurturing empathy, curiosity, and the mindset of true global citizens. ❤️

Attention All MGP Alumni and Friends - come join us for our annual Lion Dance celebration as we celebrate Lunar New Year! 🧧

So much joy on stage today as our children sang holiday songs together in Spanish, English, and Mandarin. Performing for an audience nurtures confidence, perseverance, and the courage to shine—skills that last far beyond the holidays.

We ended our celebration with a wonderful potluck, sharing delicious ethnic dishes from around the world that reflect the richness and diversity of our community.
