I’m grateful for an enjoyable evening with Scott Rowader, Lisa Rowader, and Jeff Blackburn from the Christman Emergency Fund. It was a pleasure getting to spend time together and reflect on the students and families whose lives have been touched by their generosity.

Their commitment is a powerful reminder of what can happen when people come together around a shared desire to support young people. Thank you for believing in our students and for continuing to make a meaningful difference in the Holy Trinity community.

I recently had the opportunity to meet with Matt Swanson to discuss one of the most important aspects of our mission: making a Holy Trinity education accessible to every student who seeks it.

Our conversation focused on scholarships, tuition, and the ways we can continue expanding opportunities for families. I’m grateful for the thoughtful collaboration and remain committed to ensuring that financial circumstances are never a barrier to a transformative Catholic education.

One of the greatest measures of a school is the strength of its alumni community.

Our Alumni Soccer Game this past Sunday brought together graduates from across the years for a morning of friendly competition, laughter, and connection. It was inspiring to see so many alumni reconnect with one another and continue strengthening the relationships that began at Holy Trinity. Thank you to everyone who joined us and continues to be such an important part of our school community. ✨

The start of a new school year is always an opportunity to reflect, reconnect, and recommit to our mission.

I appreciated the opportunity to meet with Brother Ken Haders, Dr. Maryanne Berry, Qiana Young, Gardis Watts, Mary Anne Beiting, and Dr. William Gregory as we revisited our Holy Cross traditions and discussed the year ahead. Conversations like these remind me that strong leadership begins with a shared commitment to our students and to the mission we serve.

It’s always rewarding to reconnect with our alumni, especially when they’re finding new ways to support the next generation of Holy Trinity students. I enjoyed meeting with Natnal Tirfe ’19, founder of Fedora Technology, to discuss ideas for streamlining student scheduling and strengthening the student experience.

One of the things I’m most looking forward to this school year is working alongside Dr. Berry as we welcome our students back to Holy Trinity. These past few weeks have been filled with planning, collaboration, and excitement as we prepare for all that’s ahead.

I can’t wait to see our hallways filled with students again and begin another wonderful year together. 💙💛

I always appreciate opportunities to connect with organizations doing meaningful and creative work with young people. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of hosting Motogo Cleveland for their gathering and learning more about their unique approach to working with young people through motorcycle mechanics.

It was a great evening of conversation and connection, and I’m so glad we could welcome them to Holy Trinity!

I am truly humbled to be recognized with the 2026 “Lead with Zeal” Award. This honor is not mine alone. It reflects the many people who have challenged, encouraged, and inspired me throughout my leadership journey.

As Holy Trinity High School prepares for the new school year, President Elizabeth Torres and newly appointed Principal Dr. Maryanne Berry are united in their commitment to lead the school with faith, purpose, and a shared vision for the future.

Dr. Berry officially joined Holy Trinity this month and brings a wealth of experience in Catholic education, instructional leadership, and student success. Together, she and President Torres are committed to building on Holy Trinity's strong foundation while ensuring every student is known, challenged, and supported.
