Its easy to vilify people that are incarcerated but we must understand that their health is our health, and that their health is our responsibility. For all who live and work in the prisons, jails and detention centers, as well as members of the workers’ families and communities, are breeding grounds for infection. Thinning the population of detained peoples safely promotes the safety and wellness for all who live and work in prisons.
