We're excited to share the trailer for "Holy Family: A Bridge Between Two Communities," a documentary created in partnership with Chicago History Museum exploring the rich history of Holy Family Ministries and Holy Family Church, our founding congregation. A group of our scholars worked diligently this year as oral historians, bringing this project to life and learning extensively about their school and community along the way. Local screening opportunities coming soon!

It was an inspiring night at our annual Spring Benefit 🌸
From an in depth HFM history presentations to a beautiful choir performance, our scholars truly shined. Guests experienced live creativity with painting demonstrations from a student artist, while our STEM scholars impressed with hands-on programming demonstrations. We were also honored to hear from featured speaker and alum Mark Boykin, whose words reminded us of the lasting impact of an HFS education.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating our students and supporting the future of HFM programs!

Today we had the honor of Mayor Brandon Johnson opening up our annual career day: Our Stories, Our Futures, by sharing his journey from an educator on Chicago’s West Side to the mayor’s office. In his story, our scholars could see reflections of their own and the promise of what lies ahead.
In this 40th anniversary year of Holy Family Ministries, we’re reminded that investing in young people is an act of belief. And today, that belief felt stronger than ever. Thank you to all the guest speakers who came together to inspire the next generation of leaders on Chicago's West Side!

Welcome back Angels, we hope you enjoyed your break! As we settle back into our regular routine, we reflect on our special Christmas Chapel. Faith was at the center of our celebration with scholars sharing praise through music, dance, and spoken word arranged with the guidance of their teachers. It was a joyful and creative send off into the Christmas season!

It's spirit week at Holy Family and our preschool - 3rd grade scholars rang in the season with Cookies with Santa! They had plenty of opportunities to get creative through holiday crafts, games, and a photo with Santa. We even had 2 HFS alumni volunteers there to help our little ones enjoy the day! 🎄

A look back at our special Thanksgiving Family Celebration Chapel! 🦃🥧🍂
As part of our 40th Anniversary Chapel Series, HFS parents, grandparents and caregivers joined us on campus for a program honoring their dedication to our scholars. Our Parent Partners with a Purpose officers spoke on their favorites aspects of our school community and helped serve the feast. We're thankful for family involvement!
