🌟 Alumni Spotlight: Sean Conway ‘22 🌟

A standout Shamrock, Sean Conway excelled at St. Pat’s both academically and athletically. A four-time Illinois state placer, three-time Fargo national qualifier, and the 2022 Illinois Scholastic Wrestler of the Year, he also led his peers as a four-year varsity captain and Senior Class President. Beyond the mat, Sean was an NHS member, Kairos leader, and part of the Honors Percussion Ensemble.

Now wrestling at the University of Chicago, Sean has quickly made his mark, becoming a national qualifier at 141lb and serving as a team captain. His leadership extends beyond athletics through involvement in the Student Athletic Advisory Committee and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

We’re proud of Sean’s continued success and can’t wait to see what’s next! ☘️

The 57th Annual Saint Patrick High School Green & Gold Gala, honoring Joseph Slawek ’67, is this Saturday, March 1—and the silent auction is now open!

This year, we hope to raise $1 million for tuition assistance, making a St. Pat’s education possible for our growing enrollment with young men from over 137 grade schools from the Chicagoland area. Yesterday, we welcomed nearly 50 new members into the Saint Patrick National Honor Society and inaugurated the new officers for the 2025-26 school year. Our Shamrock Robotics team is dominating the competition at Rolling Meadows High School in Day 1 of the Robot Rumble! Both of our robots (Liability & Doodle Bot) are battling strong, and the Shamrocks are cheering them on from their classrooms! 🤖

This showdown is the perfect way to cap off National Engineers Week and celebrate the incredible achievements of our Engineering Pathway students. As St. Patrick—the patron saint of engineers—watches over us, our Shamrocks are making him proud! ☘️⚙️

A visionary entrepreneur, Joe Slawek founded FONA International in 1987 with a bold mission—to revolutionize the flavor industry while staying true to his values. His leadership, innovation, and integrity earned FONA national recognition, along with honors like the Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame and Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year® award.

Beyond business, Joe’s commitment to faith, generosity, and people-first leadership created a workplace where values mattered. His legacy continues to inspire, even after FONA’s acquisition by McCormick.

Former ND star, NFL safety, unbeaten boxer Tommy Zbikowski new football coach at St. Patrick HS Spring football workouts start next week at St. Patrick High School. They're the first under new head coach Tommy Zbikowski.

Today was a fantastic opportunity for our Shamrocks!☘️ Our Opportunity Fair brought together college representatives and local businesses offering jobs and internships to our sophomores, juniors, and seniors. A huge thank you to all of our guests for taking the time to invest in the future of our young men. Your support is shaping their path to success!

We’re honored to receive a historic altar, tabernacle, and stand from the Sisters of Christian Charity, once housed at their Wicker Park convent on the campus of Josephinum Academy. Dating back to the 1950s, this sacred set has been preserved as a testament to their faith and dedication. Now, it has a new home at Saint Patrick High School, where it will continue to inspire worship for years to come.

From bag boy at Jewel-Osco to CEO of Borders Group, Greg Josefowicz’s journey is a testament to hard work and vision.

A proud St. Patrick High School grad, he led major companies, served on multiple boards, and is a dedicated member of the St. Pat’s Board of Trustees. Now splitting time between Chicago and Saugatuck, Greg continues to inspire with his resilience and values. ☘️

Last night, the Saint Patrick High School and Resurrection College Prep Counseling Departments hosted an incredible event, "Mapping Your Path to Playing College Athletics." Local college coaches shared valuable insights on the recruiting process and what it takes to succeed as a college athlete.
