Hi, you all! During this COVID-19 time (really around the world!) I have been privileged to continue to teach voice lessons (I do teach piano; it’s just not what my primary instrument was for my BA in music. My masters is a Master of Music in Voice Performance), even internationally.
I’m in the Edison Park neighborhood of Chicago, and teach now only via Skype, Zoom, FaceTime or FaceBook Messenger Video. Payment can be made via PayPal or Venmo.
Lessons are in 30 minute increments. My students have ranged in age from 6 years to 86! I use classical technique (because it’s fastest and safest, IMO) but am open to working on any style of song people are interested in.
I do not give free trial lessons, but you are also not obligated to continue if it doesn’t work for you. Discipline is not the same as meanness, and I really enjoy what I do. Just as tension is contrary to resonance as a general principle in physics, I try to use exercises that get rid negative tension (we do need some muscle tension to stand upright 😃).
