Last Friday, our Shark Bait campers and high school volunteers had a blast helping with the Monroe Harbor Cleanup prior to the Great Lakes Regatta last week! And just like that, the Youth Summer Camp has wrapped up Week 10!!!
We had a fantastic summer of sailing, new friendships, and fun on Lake Michigan! We’re so proud of what all of our campers learned and accomplished this summer. We’re so thankful for all of the campers, parents, and families who made it such a memorable summer. Can’t wait to see everyone back next year! ⛵️ ☀️

Our Safe Powerboat Handling Course is a great way to develop the skills and confidence needed to operate a small motorboat safely. With a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training, you’ll learn everything from docking and close-quarters maneuvering to navigation and emergency procedures.

We were treated to fantastic sailing conditions and plenty of competitive racing during the Skyline Regatta this week! Huge shoutout to the 46 sailors from Columbia, Sheridan Shore Sailing School and Chicago Yacht Club - Youth Sailing who came out to compete and helped make this year’s regatta a success. Congratulations to all competitors, and looking forward to seeing everyone back next year!

COLSS is excited to host the Skyline Regatta this coming Monday and Tuesday! Fifty sailors from around the Chicago area will be competing at this year’s event. We’re looking forward to great racing conditions after some stormy and windy seas this weekend.
