7th Annual Reimagining STEM Experience, a transformative, citywide event designed to bring together students, families, educators, and community / 7.ª Experiencia Anual de Reimaginación de STEM: un evento transformador a nivel de toda la ciudad, dis - Classes end on the 4th, but The Chicago Public Schools (CPS) Department of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math proudly announces the 7th Annual Reimagining STEM Experience, a transformative, citywide event designed to bring together students, families, educators, and community partners for an immersive day of discovery, innovation, and connection.

Now in its the seventh event, Reimagining STEM has grown into one of the district’s most impactful family engagement experiences—welcoming thousands of participants and representing over 65 CPS schools. This year’s event continues that legacy, centering joy, curiosity, and access to STEM learning for all.

The Reimagining STEM will be a STEMagination event for the entire family taking family, community, and innovation to the next level:

Notice of Application / Aviso de Solicitud - West Park STEAM Academy has announced its intent to apply for the Sustainable Community Schools (SCS) grant in partnership with The Puerto Rican Cultural Center. The initiative aims to provide academic enrichment and literacy support for students and their families during non-school hours. This model is built upon seven principles and six pillars designed to transform school culture and educational delivery. If funded, the project will focus on improving academic performance, social-emotional learning, and community partnerships. Stakeholders are invited to provide input on the application by contacting Principal Dr. Sarah Roche.

La Academia STEAM de West Park ha anunciado su intención de solicitar la subvención de Escuelas Comunitarias Sostenibles (SCS) en asociación con El Centro Cultural Puertorriqueño. La iniciativa busca brindar enriquecimiento académico y apoyo de alfabetización para los estudiantes y sus familias fuera del horario escolar. Este modelo se basa en siete principios y seis pilares diseñados para transformar la cultura escolar y la prestación de servicios educativos. De ser financiado, el proyecto se centrará en mejorar el rendimiento académico, el aprendizaje socioemocional y las alianzas comunitarias.
