Hi all,

I am starting a project where people who graduated from West Park talk about what they did after they graduated from West Park. You can make a selfie video or a regular video, or just write about yourself (with a photo instead of a video) and I will add it to a slideshow like the one attached. I have attached a sample video from another school, but don't feel pressure to make it like that.

Just say something like, "after graduating from West Park in 2000, I went onto xyz high school, and after graduating from there, I became...."

an education assistant or teacher or whatever you are doing, happy homemaker, enjoying life, etc.

You can also include a fond memory of your time at West Park or you don't have to, whatever else you want to say is cool!

Here is an example of a video or I can include something written with a picture of you. If you have a picture from when you were here, I can include both a then and now picture.

Estoy iniciando un proyecto en el que las personas que se graduaron de West Park cuentan qué hicieron después de terminar sus estudios allí. Pueden grabar un video tipo *selfie* o un video convencional, o simplemente escribir algo sobre ustedes mismos (incluyendo una foto en lugar de un video), y yo lo añadiré a una presentación de diapositivas similar a la que adjunto. Now in its the seventh event, Reimagining STEM has grown into one of the district’s most impactful family engagement experiences—welcoming thousands of participants and representing over 65 CPS schools. This year’s event continues that legacy, centering joy, curiosity, and access to STEM learning for all.

The Reimagining STEM will be a STEMagination event for the entire family taking family, community, and innovation to the next level:

Notice of Application / Aviso de Solicitud - West Park STEAM Academy has announced its intent to apply for the Sustainable Community Schools (SCS) grant in partnership with The Puerto Rican Cultural Center. The initiative aims to provide academic enrichment and literacy support for students and their families during non-school hours. This model is built upon seven principles and six pillars designed to transform school culture and educational delivery. If funded, the project will focus on improving academic performance, social-emotional learning, and community partnerships. Stakeholders are invited to provide input on the application by contacting Principal Dr. Sarah Roche.
