The voices of women in tech are still being erased TikTok’s decision to use a woman’s voice without her permission is only one recent example of a problem that some mistakenly think we’ve moved past.

The inaugural Grainger Computing Innovation Prize calls on Illinois Tech students to develop creative technology solutions to some of the most challenging problems facing the world today.

The competition, established through a generous endowed gift to the College of Computing from The Grainger Foundation, will take place over the fall 2021 semester and offers a total of $30,000 in shared prizes.
